SINGLE-SEATER V de V Challenge

The field for this event was the best surprise of last season. As much for the competitors as for the organisation itself. Launched two years ago to allow the owners of single-seaters to use their machines normally stuck in garages, the Challenge finally took off midway through the 2011 season. The meeting at Le Castellet saw almost forty cars take to the circuit. The classes are obviously well spread, but the competition is fierce. Luckily, enjoyment hasn’t been forgotten under a dust sheet either, and all the – increasingly numerous - participants, who now come from all over Europe, take great pleasure in rediscovering the delights of their various Formula machinery.
