For several years now, the European Proto 2-litre Endurance Challenge has been of a very high level.
Indeed, the lowering of production and development costs, as wanted by the organisers, as well as a levelling of the performance of the cars, has pushed teams to work on set-up and drivers to become on-track virtuosi.
It has become THE preparation for the major international races, such as the Le Mans 24 Hours and the WEC.
Apart from the Elite class, which allows the latest carbon fibre chassis, the Open Challenge is open to all tubular chassis, such as the Ligier JS49 and JS51, the Norma M20F and the Juno SSE.
The Gentlemen Drivers’ Challenge puts all the teams whose drivers have enjoyed more than fifty summers up against one another.
