For the last three seasons, the European Proto Endurance Challenge has been won by the Mondolot/Zollinger pairing in a Norma M20, for the Palmyr team. The arrival of carbon-fibre monocoques, the Wolf GB08s and new blood, in particular from the V de V Funyo Challenge and the Autosport Academy, did not quite manage to reverse this trend. Bu the Challenge went right to the wire. And the winners could only jump for joy on the last lap at Estoril. Four cars could still have won, out of a field that topped thirty at its best. Apparently doing nearly 300 km/h just inches off the ground is an attractive prospect … Accepted cars :The Proto Endurance V de V Challenge is opened to the following categories, by invitation, after acceptance of the file:- CN - limited to 2000cc, following the FFSA 2011-CN regulations – Carbon body shell accepted - C3 - limited to 1600cc, except dispensation - C1 – C2 - (on invitation, off-ranking) ELITE CHALLENGE: CN 2011 Brands and models as follows: - Norma M 20 FC - Wolf GB 08 - Ligier JS 53 - Tatuus PY 012 - Juno CN 2012 All other new CN model, on file.
